"For 40 years of my life, I can honestly say that I was unhappy with my hair 95% of the time. Tight curls with a kinky texture was the theme of my God-given mane. This attribute made me totally self-conscious. So I began my quest to tame my wild hair. For the first time in my like, I have fabulous hair, and I owe it all to you. When I read about you and your salon in the Nu Image magazine, and how you were an expert in taming wild, curly, frizzy hair, I will admit that I was somewhat skeptical. My entire life has been an endless cycle of spending hours with a blow dryer and straightening iron in order to get my hair to cooperate, only to have it spring into a life of its own as soon as I walked out of the door. (October 30, 2002) "My hair was dry, brittle and extremely damaged and frizzy, it was hard to handle on an everyday basis. I had to wash it every morning in order to brush it and style it and let it air dry because blow-drying would make it frizz and poof out, I would look like the bride of Frankenstein!!! Many mornings I wished I could just sleep a little extra instead of waking up one hour early to shower, especially in cold weather, and walking out with your hair soaking wet just made it frustrating to deal with. Now I just love the change in my hair, I can sleep in a little more and shower at night my hair is so much easier to handle and control. My hair is the healthiest it’s ever been.
